Plagiarism Policy

MANFISH Journal upholds the highest standards of academic integrity. Every manuscript submitted to the journal must be the original work of the author(s) and free from any form of plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or duplication.

Plagiarism Screening

All manuscripts submitted to MANFISH Journal are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin or equivalent plagiarism detection software prior to peer review and publication. The similarity index must not exceed 20%, excluding properly cited quotations and references.

Types of Plagiarism

The following actions are considered unethical and unacceptable:

  • Copying text, ideas, figures, or data from another source without proper citation.
  • Reproducing parts of one’s own previously published work without acknowledgment (self-plagiarism).
  • Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.
  • Using another author’s ideas or data without permission or attribution.

Editorial Actions

If plagiarism is detected, the manuscript will be immediately rejected. In cases where plagiarism is found after publication, the article will be retracted, and the author(s) may be blacklisted from future submissions to MANFISH Journal.

Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are free from plagiarism and must properly cite all sources of information. The editorial team encourages authors to check their manuscripts using reliable plagiarism-checking software before submission.
