Abstract

Vannamei shrimp have many advantages ranging from high prices, fast growing and disease resistance. Feed is a very important factor in vaname shrimp culture because it absorbs 60-70% of the total operational costs, so feeding needs to be considered, especially its efficiency. The purpose of this study was to determine the feed conversion ratio (FCR), the level of efficiency of the use of packs (EP) and the survival (SR) of vannamei shrimp in enlargement efforts with intensive pond patterns at the Center for Excellence in Technology (PUT) Pontianak State Polytechnic in Mempawah. The research method used in this research is descriptive method. The data collection technique carried out in this study was to observe the amount of feed remaining on the anco (in %) of the amount of feed given at each feeding to determine Feeding Efficiency (EP), Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) and Survival Rate (SR). The FCR value of A1 and A2 ponds has the same value, namely 1.3. Feed efficiency in A1 ponds is 74.6%, while in A2 ponds it is 77.2%. The highest SR value is in pond A2 with a value of 81.5% compared to pond A1 with a value of 75.0. Based on the results obtained, the vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) enlargement business at the Pontianak State Polytechnic Center for Technology (PUT) in Mempawah which shows the best, feasible and efficient results is in A2 ponds
