Abstrak

State Police School (SPN) is an institution for members of government agencies whose job is to maintain security and public order in the case of the Republic of Indonesia's state police. The construction of this state police school certainly attracts attention because every year there will be recruitment and development education, both in general and specifically. In order to maximize recruitment, the State Police School building was moved from Pontianak, which had a building area of ​​less than one hectare, to Singkawang, which had a land area of ​​40 hectares. But in the process, there are various kinds of obstacles that make the completion of the project slow. An important thing in construction is cost, quality, time, human resources, and project communication management. Accelerating the completion of a project requires good planning, one of the alternatives used is to increase the number of workers, increase working hours, or increase the mobilization of tools that will have an impact on the total cost of the project. PERT is a method that aims to reduce delays and production disruptions as much as possible, as well as coordinate the various parts of work as a whole and speed up the completion of the project. Therefore we need a method to improve management by using the PERT method applied to bar charts.
